braXos Composer - Overview¶
braXos Composer is the integration engine behind Maestro. Where the Maestro guide is for people using the gateway, this guide is for the enterprise architects, integrators, system administrators, and deployment engineers who compose and run braXos Composer integrations.
Composer runs on its own. It is a full integration platform in its own right - it executes connector-and-transform pipelines as scheduled or event-driven integrations without any MCP involvement. MCP enablement (fronting those same connectors through Maestro) is an optional, additive capability layered on top; nothing here requires it.
What's here¶
- Architecture - the cloud relay + on-prem sidecar split, and how a call flows across the Orchestrator bus
- Authoring connectors - operations, the
[McpTool]annotation model, metadata/versioning - Transforms - shaping data between operations
- Transient pipelines - composing multi-step, in-process execution
